At Home

I think that my blog is saturated with Beach post (sorry).
We basically live there and my son is so at home at the beach that everytime we visit (everyday really)
he would just slump down on the sand.

He doesnt care of the saltiness or the sand getting on his shirt or *gasp* his hair and eyes he just have this urge to be one with the sand.
He needs to touch it. Embrace it and hug it . Maybe even at the degree of homesickness that I have
theres still this one thing that I would miss here in the UK if ever (read: never) I will go home. Its the beach as I live in the city there.

I will miss the beach and how accessible it is for us.

And how comfortable my son is with it. And I am happy with that. I am happy to raise a child that
feels one with nature. How he is not scared of the water, the waves, the mud and the sand.
A kid that is not scared to be dirty and wet. A boy who chases seagulls and pigeons and crows.

I might have complained a lot thru comments in the other blog how I dont have a garden for my son to play in, how I dont have a space but
come to think of it, I really do have the biggest playground for my son: the beach.

We are going to go again this afternoon because the beach is calling our name and we can never say no to its invitation!

You are exceedingly lucky to have this area on your doorstep. A perfect area to run and play. My son has reached the age where our garden is to small for cricket. He is forever hitting it into next door. Not a problem with your outdoor space. A beach like yours has definite advantages.#CountryKids

I don't think you ever need appologise for your lovely beach photos. I love to see your son growing up and enjoying the fresh air and making the most of the beach there. If I lived as close to the sea is you do I'm sure I'd be there every day too. It won't be long now before you can shed a few layers and enjoy the warmth of some summer sunshine. thank you for joining me for #CountryKids

Do you know that if lived there, we'd live on the beach too. It's such a special place for your son to grow up close to, you are giving him wonderful childhood memories #CountryKids

What a lovely post, Merlinda. Since we've moved down, we have been a proper beach babies (lol). Olivia used to be scared of water, waves and sand dune hills but, she only tried it once and became a total convert. We have the biggest playground indeed. Seb is growing so fast too. xx Sana makapasyal na rin kami sa summer para makapag laro si Olivia at Sebastian. xx

He looks like he's having so much fun! I miss living near to the coast. We're now only 40 minutes away but before moving here I'd always lived within minutes of a beach.

You have to make do with what you've got and isn't it wonderful you have a beach to explore.
It's more important to have a roof over your head and food in your belly than anything else and he has got more from the love you give him X
